"The Princess", is carved in the queen post truss over the covered entry which is supported by an unusual set of matched forked posts. Several other forked logs are used as floor joists in the second floor loft of this home.
The nautical theme of the home is reflected in the round porthole style windows that present an amazing view of a picturesque bay and islands. While the log shell was handcrafted out of red pine logs, one large white pine log was given a second life as the main ridge pole after it had to be cut down on site to make room for this dream log home.
