The Pinecove is a 2,125 sq. ft. (28' x 38' with a 10' x 12' double entry and 3/4 loft) full scribed log home crafted out of large 14' – 16' mid-point diameter white pine logs. The "Butts Out, Tips In" style of log end treatment adds a rustic elegance to this owner-designed custom log home. The main floor features the kitchen, dining room, two bedrooms and bathroom. The master bedroom, with its large walk-in closets and ensuite bath, occupies the loft area. Eave purlins, the two matched dog house dormers and a shed dormer add extra usable space to the loft area. The large diameter white pine ridge pole and purlins are visible from the dining room below. A King Post collar-tied truss supports the roof of the log home. A full length veranda is supported by several very unique natural knee-braced posts.This handsome handcrafted log home will be located on a rural property in the Sault Ste. Marie area.
