This home was what started it all for Northern Comfort Log Homes and has been this log builder's residence for the last twenty years. Some of my signature work is showcased in the log work of this building such as a curved strut king post truss and my first ogee log end carvings.
A birdseye maple staircase winds around a towering sandstone fireplace to a second floor balcony office and two bedrooms. The main floor of this 1,600 square foot home features a cathedral ceiling over the dining and living areas as well as an interior log walled master bedroom.
