The Angara is a 2,200 square foot (36’ x 42’), full scribed log home crafted out of white pine logs averaging 14” – 16” mid-point diameter. The main floor of this custom log home boasts a spacious kitchen and dining area, a master bedroom and an open-to-above living room area which showcases a cherry half log staircase with log and spindle railings leading up to the second floor. This 2/3 loft area, which is supported by log floor joists, makes for an outstanding second storey floor plan. A large diameter ridge pole, log purlins and a massive king post truss, all visible from the interior, supports the roof of the log home. The home has a full wrap verandah featuring a curved log eyebrow over the main entrance. This finely handcrafted home will be located on an acreage fronting an inland lake in the Blind River, Ontario area.
